“Lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings fantastic local walks right from the garden gate was a real treat. Polperro worth a visit and Bude beach is lovely. Brilliant to watch the deers in the woods during our walks and the sheep from the kitchen window. Holiday enjoyed by all and as with all good holidays – sad to go home. Rare to find such high quality accommodation that allows dogs – thank you!”

“Fabulous week – did lots but the days melted into each other and it was over all too quickly. Here for the annual get-together and also to celebrate Alex’s 30th. The charity shop challenge in Launceston was fun, Boscastle, Lydford and Crackington beautiful. Ate in the Stone Barn every night with everybody taking a turn which ended up a mini Master Chef, culminating in a Bake Off style cream tea on the last day. We will be back in the future.”

 

“Beautiful place, so well equipped and far exceeded our expectations. The perfect place to all celebrate Richards’s 70th birthday. All kept secret until we all arrived. Wonderful evening spent together, good food, wine and good company, full of surprises “ Richards book of memories”, “desert island discs a la Richard” and grandchildren playing his favourite tunes on the trumpet and clarinet. Thank you Dick and Elaine for providing such top class accommodation and teaching us all how to live without the things we thought we couldn’t. Games room complete hit with all 5 grandchildren – not a handheld computerised device in sight! – Wonderful”
