BOOKING INFORMATION AND PRICES 2010

Prices range from £210 to £2050 depending on time of year, length of stay, choice of house and the number of guests in your party. The following guidelines should give you a fairly good idea of how much your stay will cost but if you would like a precise figure, please email or phone us with your holiday details. We do our very best to respond within a few hours to most enquiries.

Guide prices are for up to 10 guests at each property unless otherwise stated.

South Beer Farmhouse and The Stone Barn have a Friday changeover day from 5th June until end of September. Hill Cottage has a Saturday changeover day from 23rd May until end of September. Outside these dates we can be fairly flexible so please ask.

Pets are welcome at all of our properties (max 2 in the Stone Barn and 3 in the other houses – depending on size and breed – please discuss with Dick and Elaine. There is a £20 per pet charge.)

All prices include bed linen and quilts, electricity and central heating (not during summer months) , basket of logs, hand towels. Basic provisions (tea, coffee, milk, sugar) will be left at the property ready for your arrival.

Towels available for hire £4 per person per week.

Organic free range eggs (when available) £2 per dozen ( only to our guests)

Organic seasonal veg from our own plot according to availability, please enquire.

We are happy to arrange a box of basic shopping requirements in addition to the above, ready for your arrival. Payment as per receipt. Please enquire.

In keeping with our efforts to run an environmentally friendly business, the central heating in the cottages will be turned off from 1st June until mid September. If central heating is required during summer months there will be an additional charge to cover the cost of fuel.

Every holiday taken at any of our properties contributes to the rebuilding of hedgerows, wildlife habitat restoration, protection and maintenance throughout the 130 acres of Beer Mill Nature Reserve. (Gold Award Devon Wildlife Trust since 2003).

Dogs are welcome at all our properties - there is a pet charge of £20 per week per animal. We provide a large dog bed, old towels and bowls - we do ask that dogs are not allowed in the bedrooms or on the furniture. We ask that dogs sleep in the utility room, kitchen or their own travel pen at night, please clean off muddy /sandy dogs before allowing them in the house and that guests pick up after their dogs immediately. A dog kennel and small run is provided at the Stone Barn in the courtyard and for the other houses we are happy to 'dog sit' in our kennel at Beer Mill if you would like to go out without your dog - pets cannot be left unattended in the houses. Sadly there has been some damaged caused by chewing/scratching dogs and we must ask that owners are prepared to cover the full cost of any damage/extra cleaning or we will have to levy a damage deposit (which we do not want to do - we prefer to trust our guests)

When making an enquiry please let us know the number in your party and the number of bedrooms you will require as these factors are reflected in the price. At quieter times of year we operate a flexible pricing scheme however the number of guests/pets on your confirmed booking cannot be increased without notifying the owners. Please discuss your arrangements with us we are happy to help

Please telephone, fax or email your booking and we will reserve it for 3 days for you until we receive your 25% deposit. The deposit can be paid by cheque (payable to E. Green) or by credit/debit card over the phone or via our secure payment area.
Sorry, we do not accept AMEX.

The balance of the full payment is due 8 weeks before the start date of your holiday. If you cancel, we do not refund your deposit unless we can re-let the cottage. £30 administrative charge will be deducted from any refund.

If you cancel after the final balance has been paid, we will attempt to re-let and will refund if we are successful, but otherwise we assume you will claim the full amount from your travel insurance.
